Hello its good to see you now Its been so many years And the last time I remember I was blinded by the tears I know I cried the day you left I thought my life was through But Im really quite a different man than the one you knew Ive had my share of broken hearts Ive seen some ended dreams And I know what life gives out to us Isnt always what it seems Ive learned to tell the difference What is and isnt true And Im really quite a different man than the one you knew As the years go by people compromise on what they say theyll do And through it all still try to stay the same But I dont know why I just know that I Have changed as much as you And who I use to be is someone else not me So tell me now how you have been You must be doing well Youve got the things you wanted And youre happy I can tell And though I said Id never be I am happy too Cause Im really quite a different man than the one you knew
